‘I was told there were no formatting restrictions’: Students take a stand against college professor, leads to 100% pass rate

College students are often blessed with teachers who like to go on tangents about their personal lives, 'forgetting' to relay the actual material they're supposed to be teaching for the students final exams. We all like to think we're interesting people, special even — but the fact of the matter is, nobody really cares about the time we found 20 bucks on the pavement, feelings aren't facts, and unlike Harry Potter, we're not the Chosen One.

In this case, OP was a college student who got stuck with a professor that had it a little backward, who thought she had that lightening shaped scar on her forehead. There were no books for the class, only a PowerPoint presentation that would serve as 'enough' to study for the test. As if OP didn't have a billion other courses to consider during her semester. The final was coming up, and OP had nothing to lose after listening to their professor's boring rants over the span of a couple of months.

So a week before the final, OP was told that all students were allowed one sheet of notes, and a copy of the PowerPoint presentation to study. OP realized they'd struck gold. What followed was a beautiful act of malicious compliance, coupled with some petty revenge that left an unfortunate bitter aftertaste in their professor's mouth… it didn't end there, this malicious compliance carried on a few generations, as the students who studied in this professor's class took note of OP's brilliant idea.
